Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacy - Night Shift Including Rotating Weekends and Holidays

In this role, under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will assist with preparing outpatient prescriptions, batching sterile and/or non-sterile preparations, managing inventory, maintaining patient profiles, processing prescription claims, and interacting with patients. You will also collect medication history and allergy information from patients and accurately document in the electronic medical record when applicable. Additional duties include maintaining all quality assurance data and procedures associated with the non-sterile and sterile preparation area and product prepared.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- New York State Pharmacy Technician License
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Pharmacy Technician Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- Basic computer literacy
Qualifications
Preferred: One year of experience in hospital or community pharmacy practice setting.
Schedule
Full-time night shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM or 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, including rotating weekends and holidays.
Pay
Salary Range: $35.67 - $38.11 per hour.
