Pharmacy Technician - Per Diem - Einstein Outpatient

About the role

This position assists a pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications to patients across various age groups, from neonates to frail elderly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions and patient needs.
• Provide service to patients in accordance with their functional and developmental ages.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited hospital pharmacy technician training program or equivalent work experience.
• Computer proficiency.
• Possession of a certification through PTCB within 12 months of hire, or enrollment in an ACPE accredited pharmacy school program with pharmacy intern registration in Pennsylvania.
