This role supports pharmacy operations under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy leadership, performing routine tasks such as preparing and distributing medications, including unit-dose and outpatient prescriptions, while ensuring medication safety and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Perform pharmaceutical calculations
- Adhere to safety protocols
- Prepare sterile compounded products
- Distribute controlled substances
- Assist in training pharmacy technician trainees
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Pharmacy State License
- Preferred certification (CPhT)
- 1-2 years of hospital-related experience or formal training
