Responsibilities
- Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for patients.
- Demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team’s ability to fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately.
- Provide compassionate and caring service that exceeds customer expectations.
- Complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to your State’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines.
- Expand duties as you gain experience and build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge through available tools and training.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Licensure requirements vary by state.

Physical Demands
- Remaining upright on your feet for sustained periods.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks, including moving between work areas.
- Using fingers for tasks such as typing or handling small objects.
- Extending hands and arms in any direction.
- Bending body downward and forward by bending the spine at the waist.
- Stooping considerably and using lower extremities and back muscles.
- Expressing or exchanging ideas through spoken word; conveying detailed instructions accurately.
- Perceiving sounds at normal speaking levels and receiving detailed information through oral communication.
- Close visual acuity for activities such as transcribing, reading, and inspecting small parts.
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs; exerting up to 30 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, or negligible force constantly.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting (preferred).
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician (preferred).
- PTCB National Certification (preferred).
Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $18.00 - $28.00 per hour. This range represents the base hourly rate for all positions in the job grade. The actual base salary offer will depend on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant considerations.
Schedule
This is a part-time position with an anticipated weekly schedule of 20 hours.
