Pharmacy Technician- Overnight

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications
• Maintain drug inventory
• Maintain patient records
• Work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
• Present completed medications to the pharmacist for verification
• Routinely interact with patients to ensure quality service
• Perform other job duties as applicable

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Age: Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experience: As required by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board for Certification Exam; No Experience Required
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must be certified as a Pharmacy Technician through a nationally accredited pharmacy organization; Must be registered with the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or have an application in process upon hire, to be obtained within 90 days of hire

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours. Shift: 8:00 pm to 6:30 am, Night Shift.
