About the role
The Pharmacy Technician supports our Pharmacists in daily operations, from filling prescriptions to coordinating with providers and insurers, ensuring that patients receive the quality care they depend on.
Responsibilities
- Retrieves, pours, counts, labels, and reconstitutes prescription medications
- Accesses, inputs, and retrieves information through the pharmacy’s computer network to maintain accurate records
- Packages and labels products under the supervision of the Pharmacist
- Obtains refill authorizations from prescribers
- Processes and prepares third-party insurance claims
- Captures prescriptions with providers, clients, and third parties
- Maintains pharmacy inventory
- Prepares reports related to sales, usage, and inventory
- Maintains and cleans equipment, work areas, and shelves
- Fulfills agency documentation policies for all phases of treatment and client care
- Collaborates with internal and external multidisciplinary teams regarding clinical aspects of treatment
- Adheres to ethical and legal standards set by licensing boards and state regulations
- Participates in ongoing professional development activities to meet licensure, certification, and/or other agency requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- None - see preferred experience
Qualifications
- Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee license in state of practice

Pay is calculated based on years of licensed working experience and dependent on license (see above).
