Pharmacy Technician (Mail Order)

Responsibilities

• Aid pharmacists in daily order dispensing according to pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Ensure unit dose compliance and tablet filling.
• Pick and label prescription orders.
• Package and ship orders.
• Perform basic receiving functions.
• Rotate between stations within the pharmacy.
• Aid in production duties by building compliance units for top veterinary care products.
• Restock and clean workstations.
• Occasionally replenish supplies.
• Contribute to scheduled pharmacy inventories and recycling efforts.

Requirements

• Current valid Pharmacy Technician registration with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy OR willingness and ability to apply for your State Pharmacy Technician registration by June 2026.
• A High School diploma or G.E.D.
• 6+ months previous warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, or pharmacy experience.

Schedule

This position is a full-time, on-site role based at our Pharmacy Warehouse in Harrisburg, PA. It requires 40 hours per week, typically scheduled Monday-Friday between our operating hours of 6:30 am and 4:30 pm ET with a rotating Saturday from 7:00 am-3:30 pm ET.

What Makes Us Different

We offer a casual warehouse environment where scrubs are not required. There are no Sundays or evenings, allowing for a consistent work schedule. No external customer service is involved, focusing solely on internal operations. The noise level in the work area is typically quiet to moderate.

Working Conditions

• Environment where dogs are present if in the office.
• Lifting and shelving items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Occasionally stooping, lifting, and/or bending.
• Occasionally reaching overhead and using a step ladder.

Pay Range

The pay range for US-based applicants is $20.00 - $22.00 / hour. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, certifications, relevant education and training, while also considering internal equity.
