About the role
As a Pharmacy Technician – IV Compounding, you will support Pharmacy Infusion Services by accurately and safely preparing intravenous medications in accordance with physician orders, established pharmacy procedures, and applicable sterile compounding standards. This role requires close attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to patient safety and quality. The ideal candidate is a Certified Pharmacy Technician with at least three years of IV compounding experience who can effectively manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of pharmacy tech IV compounding experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use various computer programs and applications, including EMR/EHR
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- CPhT Certification
