Pharmacy Technician - Item Entry

About the role

The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2‑Item Entry enters prescriptions in ePost sent by physicians for further processing by other departments, performing varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform computations.
• Meet or exceed department production and quality goals/metrics.
• Interpret area/department policy and methods to complete assignments.
• Work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards.
• Work under minimal direction with independent discretion.

Requirements

• Active license/registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Board of Pharmacy in Florida, Arizona, or Ohio.
• 1+ years of experience in retail, clinical, or mail order pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• National certification through PTCB (CPhT) or NHA (ExCPT) preferred.

Pay

$40,000 – $52,300 per year (starting base pay for full‑time 40‑hour/week employment).

Schedule

• 8‑hour shift, Monday‑Friday, typically between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. (based on business need).
• Overtime may be required (late evenings or weekends) as needed.
