About the role
Under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, Supervisor, and/or Director of Pharmacy Services, performs a wide variety of Pharmacy duties to meet the needs for patients in the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Filling routine drug orders for unit dose medications
- Refilling medications in Pharmacy Automated Dispensing Cabinets
- Performing Non-Sterile and Sterile Compounding
- Repackaging medication into unit dose barcoded packages
- Replenishing code carts drug supply
- Performing inventory duties for the Central Pharmacy operation
Requirements
Minimum Education: Preferred high school level of education.
Minimum Work Experience: Minimum of 3 months work experience as Pharmacy Technician preferred; hospital pharmacy experience desirable.
Qualifications
Required Licenses/Registrations: Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) or Registered Pharmacy Intern (RPI) as granted by state licensing board.
Required Certifications: CPhT or ExCPT Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Pay
Pay Range: $24.39 - $32.83 per hour.
Schedule
Shift: Day/Eve Rotation.
