Pharmacy Technician-Inpatient Evenings Part-time

Part-time Inpatient Pharmacy Technician with an evening shift and every 3rd weekend off. Work 24-30 hours per week.

About the role

As the Pharmacy Technician, you procure and distribute medication orders per physician request, pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.

Schedule

• Evening shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• No holidays or overnights
• Every 3rd weekend off
• Evening differential paid on top of base rate

Responsibilities

• Procure and distribute medication orders
• Work accurately with attention to detail
• Respond quickly to emergency requests
• Handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload
• Set priorities and solve problems
• Communicate effectively (orally and in writing)
• Work cooperatively with hospital and pharmacy staff

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy Technician Certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (DORA) preferred; provisional certification considered
• 2-3 years of pharmacy technician experience (inpatient or outpatient preferred)
