Position Highlights
Position: Pharmacy Technician II
Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL
Full Time - 40 hours/week
Hours: Days, 7:00am - 3:30pm, rotating weekends and holidays
What You Will Need
- Education (Required): High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Certifications (Required):
- Current License as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois
- One of the following must be met:
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification or must obtain CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) within 90 days of hire
- Successfully passed the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) examination pending certification
- Current Pharmacy Technician license with “Student” designation issued by the State of Illinois
- Ivory room experience preferred

What You Will Do
Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records. Works under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
