Lakeview Hospital is looking to hire a Pharmacy Technician I to join our team as a Partner for Good, helping make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

About the role

Performs activities involved in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Completes pharmacy functions that do not require a licensed pharmacist, allowing the pharmacist more time for clinical activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minnesota Pharmacy Technician Registration (PTR) – required at hire/start date
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or ExCPT) through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) – required within 1 year of hire/start date
  • Must follow State Board of Pharmacy guidelines/requirements for Pharmacy Technicians
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3 years pharmacy technician experience
