Pharmacy Technician - Hospital Setting - Evening Shift

Position Overview The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications within a hospital setting, ensuring patient safety and adherence to legal standards. Key Responsibilities Assist with medication preparation and dispensing in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.Follow established safety protocols and pharmacy standards.Complete departmental orientation and maintain compliance with licensure requirements.Support the pharmacy team to ensure efficient medication management and patient care. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent.Preferred relevant pharmacy experience; certification may be required for higher levels.Active registration with the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willingness to apply immediately.For advanced levels, certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and hospital pharmacy experience are required.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
