About the role
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to perform duties related to filling and dispensing medications in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare oral and IV medications
- Manage patient orders
- Maintain automated dispensing systems
- Dispense medications
- Triage orders
- Ensure system integrity
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Oregon Pharmacy Technician certification or license
- At least one year of pharmacy practice experience in a health system or two years in hospital pharmacy
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Pharmacy technician training
- Specialty certifications
- Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines
- Experience with electronic health records
Schedule
Full-time, night shift, on-site.
