Pharmacy Technician - Fulfillment

Responsibilities
- Accurately fill and label patient orders, ensuring all details are correct prior to final pharmacist verification.
- Pull the correct products based on drug name and NDC, labeling according to manufacturer and state/federal requirements.
- Prioritize and organize work to meet turnaround deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining accurate drug inventory counts through effective inventory control practices.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, USP 800 guidelines for hazardous materials handling, and all internal SOPs.
- Support shipping, packaging, and other pharmacy technician tasks as assigned.
- Work closely with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment of patient orders.
- Communicate proactively with supervisors and team members to flag issues, resolve discrepancies, and keep workflows moving.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Tennessee Board of Pharmacy Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician license a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting preferred.
- Experience using pharmacy processing systems such as EPS, CareTend, or similar platforms.
- Specialty pharmacy experience is a plus.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong attention to detail to include accuracy in prescription filling is non-negotiable.
- Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and instant messaging platforms.
- Efficient typing skills and comfort with technology-based workflows.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer screen for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds as needed.
Schedule
Rotating 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM or 11:00 AM start) aligned with Pharmacist scheduling, Monday-Thursday.
