Pharmacy Technician - Fulfillment
Phoenix, Arizona, United States of America – Saliba’s Extended Care Pharmacy, a member of the Guardian family of pharmacies, is seeking a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician II to join our team. About the role
Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, the Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for the filling and packaging of prescriptions in an accurate and timely manner for delivery to our customers.
Schedule
- Sunday: 10:00 am - 6:30 pm
- Monday - Thursday: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Pay
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Responsibilities
- Rotate and work within assigned pharmacy workstations based on pharmacy needs, to safely and accurately fill resident prescriptions.
- Accurately fill, label, and package a variety of dosage forms in accordance with legal requirements and pharmacy standards.
- Provide cross coverage for multiple technician responsibilities to meet delivery deadlines.
- Understand requirements and procedures for handling, distribution, inventory control, and security of controlled substances.
- Exercise proficiency across all Fulfillment workflow areas.
- Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication available to complete all orders.
- Assist in maintaining inventory at appropriate levels, including removing expired or unused meds, marking used bottles, assisting in physical inventory, and keeping inventory neat and arranged in order.
- Consistently meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels.
- Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain clean and orderly workstation. Put medications away and replenish all stock supplies needed.
- Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the dispensing of prescription medications.
- Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
- Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).
- 1+ years of related experience (technical knowledge/skills may substitute for experience).
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
- Pharmacy software experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines.
- Ability to solve problems with minimal direction.
- Great attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire about inaccuracies.
