Day In The Life

  • Ensure all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for our patients.
  • Work in various workstations to grow your skillsets further.
  • Focus on order fulfillment in our closed-door pharmacy setting, including packaging and dispensing of medication, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinating stock rotations.
  • Additional tasks include:
    • Rotating and working in various assigned pharmacy workstations including: Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Ekit, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, Machine Packaging
    • Receiving product deliveries, pulling and staging product for distribution, rotating stock, and coordinating activities with drivers to ensure shipments are accurate and deliveries are timely
    • Performing physical inventories of medication

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed/registered pharmacy technician in the state of GA and PTCB certification.
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.
  • PTCB National Certification.
  • Must be able to work 3-11:30 with rotating weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry.
  • Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.

Education

  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.

Anticipated Weekly Hours

The typical weekly hours for this role is 40.

Time Type

This is a full-time position.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $16.00 - $26.21. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
