Role Overview

Provides customer service, stocks and distributes medications, maintains accurate records, and supports team tasks in a pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make lasting customer connections and promote excellent service.
  • Efficiently stock, assemble, and dispense medications.
  • Adhere to infection-control policies to ensure safety.
  • Record and file physician’s orders and prescriptions accurately.
  • Train as a cashier to ensure precise register operations.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain an effective department.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED; 18+ years old.
  • PREFERRED: 2-3 years of experience in pharmacy.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality and medication management.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with a customer service focus.
  • Motivated to learn and grow professionally.

Physical & Mental Requirements

  • Frequent lifting up to 10 lbs., pushing, pulling, reaching, standing.
  • Occasional lifting over 10 lbs., squatting, walking, bending.
  • Operate equipment like scanners and registers.
  • Use judgment, decision-making, social, reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
