Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Genoa, you’ll support all functions of our mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
About the role
This position is located within the Richard Hall Health & Wellness Center in Bridgewater, NJ. You will work as part of a coordinated care team to ensure that people with complex health conditions receive the right medications and are able to follow their treatment plans. Our personalized services—including in-clinic pharmacies and medication management—are leading the way to a new level of care for behavioral health and addiction treatment communities.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff
- Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
- Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
- Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
- Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Assist the Pharmacist in keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
- Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of New Jersey
- 1+ years of retail pharmacy experience (data entry, resolving insurance issues, etc.)
- Ability to work onsite at 500 N Bridge St., Suite 104A, Bridgewater, NJ
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Intermediate level of proficiency with general computer and Microsoft Office
- Bilingual in Spanish

Schedule
Mondays 8:30am–6:00pm, Tuesday–Thursday 8:30am–5:00pm, Fridays 8:30am–4:00pm, with a 12:30pm–1:00pm lunch break.

Pay
The hourly pay for this role ranges from $16 to $29 per hour based on full-time employment, depending on factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
