Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic
• Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
• Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Work with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Nebraska
• Access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work onsite at 7150 Arbor St. Suite P, Omaha, NE, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm

Preferred Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 8-hour shifts between 8:30am-5:00pm
• Lunch break from 12:00pm to 12:30pm
