Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll support all functions of our mental health and specialty pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
About the role
The pharmacy is open Monday-Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm MST and Friday from 8am to 4:00pm MST. Occasional coverage in Billings, MT may be required as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
- Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
- Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
- Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
- Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Work with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
- Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Montana OR the ability to obtain a Provisional Pharmacy Technician license by date of hire
- Ability to obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification within 1 year of obtaining your provisional license
- Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license
- Ability to work onsite at 699 Farmhouse Lane, Suite P, Bozeman, MT, 59715 during pharmacy hours
Preferred Qualifications
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
- Ability to use your own car to make deliveries if needed

Pay
The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
