Pharmacy Technician

About the role

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be a member of a team supporting our pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities. You create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for patients. Through proper training and mentoring, you will have the opportunity to promote and provide immunizations (where allowed by law) to help keep patients safe in the communities we serve.

Albertsons will train you to become a pharmacy technician, offering classes from our pharmacy learning and development team, hands-on training with our teams, and instruction on our pharmacy computer system.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities to enhance patient experience
• Assist in creating a welcoming environment for patients
• Promote and provide immunizations (where permitted by law)
• Engage with customers and fellow associates to foster a positive atmosphere
• Contribute to the well-being of the community

Requirements

• Willingness to obtain proper licenses (where required by local state regulations)
