About the role
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our team in dispensing medications and assisting pharmacists in providing patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting in medication dispensing according to prescriptions
- Supporting patient self-management and behavior change efforts in a team-based care environment
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring accurate medication preparation
Qualifications and skills required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic internet and phone skills
- At least one year of pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Current certification or provisional certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (must be obtained before employment)
- Valid state licensure maintained throughout employment
