About the role
Fry’s Food Stores, now part of The Kroger Company, seeks a dedicated individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Assistant. This position involves providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment, and adhering to regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report illegal activities
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines; identify and report unsafe conditions
- Manage ordering functions with wholesalers; maintain inventory using computerized systems
- Perform billing procedures accurately; assist pharmacists in various responsibilities
- Provide a positive customer experience; interact with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
- Support health and wellness initiatives; assist with order fulfillment and inventory management
- Work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment; manage conflicts in a constructive manner
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years old
- Confidentiality and integrity in handling customer and business information
- Previous pharmacy clerk experience or EPRN familiarity preferred
