Pharmacy Technician
Job Purpose and Summary

Responsibilities
- Follow company SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage and improve patient health
- Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
- Create heartfelt and personalized moments while serving patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
- Show empathy and genuine care by offering immunizations and other services at the register and over the phone
- Demonstrate compassionate care by solving or escalating patient problems
- Complete basic inventory activities, as permitted by law, and as directed by the pharmacy leadership team
- Contribute to a high-performing team, embrace a growth mindset, and be receptive to feedback
- Voluntarily travel to stores in the market to work shifts as needed by the business
- Support immunizations, including completing additional licensure and training requirements, educating patients about the importance of vaccines, and monitoring for adverse reactions
Requirements
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
- Must be at least 16 years old if state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program if state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement
- Must satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to State's Board of Pharmacy guidelines until the Technician has completed all necessary requirements
Qualifications
- Must have 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting is preferred
- Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs

Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $18.94 - $28.94. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
