About the role
Join our community at Community Health Network, where we ensure medications and supplies are provided to customers accurately and timely, in compliance with standard procedures, Joint Commission, State Department of Health, and other regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently select medications for dispensing
- Compound sterile products using aseptic technique
- Deliver medications and supplies to the proper location in a timely fashion
- Maintain a contemporary professional knowledge base
- Participate in the evaluation, development, and implementation of process improvement
- Perform basic compounding and calculations
- Communicate with patients, their families, and hospital staff in a positive and professional manner
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Indiana Pharmacy Technician License or Indiana Pharmacy Intern License
- Previous Pharmaceutical or Related Healthcare Experience Preferred
- National Certification required within 2 years of hire unless you are a Pharmacy Intern
