Pharmacy Technician

About the role

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be a member of a team supporting our pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities. You will create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for patients, making our pharmacy a great place for friends, family, and neighbors to get their prescriptions.

Through proper training and mentoring, you will have the opportunity to promote and provide immunizations (where allowed by law) to help keep patients safe in the communities we serve. Albertsons offers training to become a pharmacy technician, including classes from our pharmacy learning and development team, pharmacy computer system training, and hands-on experience with our teams.

This role is ideal whether you’re looking for your first part-time job, returning to work after some time off, or want a full-time career with growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities in delivering an excellent pharmacy experience.
• Assist in providing immunizations (where permitted by law).
• Engage with customers and fellow associates to create a positive and welcoming environment.
• Contribute to the well-being of the community through your role.
