Key Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot Paxit packaging and dispensing equipment.
- Set up packaging lots and follow inventory schedules.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment.
- Replenish supplies across packaging, dispensing, and staging areas.
- Respond quickly to equipment faults and workflow issues.
- Use systems like Paxit Manager and Framework for order tracking.
- Perform audits, packaging scans, and short-fill checks.
- Stage and tote prescriptions with accurate labeling.
- Assist with bulk dispensing, labeling, and “owes” processing.
- Communicate delays and inventory needs to the team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the MD State Board of Pharmacy is required (good standing).
- Minimum of one (1) year working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong computer skills.
- Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge.
- Mastery of math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations.
- Demonstrates strong teamwork skills by actively contributing to group efforts, communicating openly, and supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Thrives in a dynamic environment by quickly adjusting to changing priorities, new tasks, and evolving business needs with a positive attitude.
- Consistently arrives on time, meets deadlines, and maintains dependable attendance, ensuring steady support for team and business operations.
