Pharmacy Tech-Mail Order

Temporary opportunity in Brunswick, ME for a well-known healthcare organization in Portland, ME. This role offers a stable, structured pharmacy environment with minimal retail rush or chaotic walk-in traffic, focusing on back-office pharmacy support.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain accurate patient and prescription records
• Handle basic inquiries on medication pricing, availability, and coverage
• Use sound judgment to route clinical questions to a pharmacist
• Assist with data entry, order processing, inventory, and shipping
• Collaborate with internal medical staff through the EMR
• Follow all pharmacy and privacy regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Maine Pharmacy Technician License (must be obtained before starting)
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong multitasking and communication skills

Nice to have

• Prior pharmacy, medical, or administrative experience

Pay

$19 - $24/hr
