Pharmacy Tech

About the role

We seek a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
• Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
• Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Work with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

Schedule & location

Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:30am–4:30pm with lunch from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Location: 1515 E Osborn Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85014.

Required qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona or an active Trainee Technician License in the state of Arizona or the ability to obtain within 60 days of employment
• Ability to work onsite at 1515 E Osborn Rd. Phoenix, AZ, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30am–4:30pm
• Access to reliable transportation and US driver's license

Preferred qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 – $29 per hour based on full-time employment.
