Pharmacy Tech
About the Role
As our Pharmacy Tech, you'll help patients receive safe and effective medications while supporting doctors and nurses with accurate and timely medication distribution. Your focus on thoroughness, accuracy, and patient safety ensures all prescriptions are authentic, correctly prepared, and dispensed under the Pharmacist's guidance. You follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and assist in keeping the pharmacy running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Perform all duties of a pharmacy technician in accordance with established policies and procedures related to the preparation and distribution of medication.
- Restock the IV room and process IV credits, returns, and waste documentation.
- Prepare and dispense IV solutions.
- Manage narcotic distribution and assist in discrepancy resolution.
- Answer phone calls, determine order status, and triage calls for appropriate resolution.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or High School GED.
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in Arkansas.
- 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician (required for Pharmacy Tech II).
Qualifications
- 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience (preferred).

Pay
$17.04 - $23.20/hour.
