Pharmacy Tech
About the Role
As our Pharmacy Tech, you'll help patients receive safe and effective medications while supporting doctors and nurses with accurate and timely medication distribution. Your focus on thoroughness and accuracy will build trust and ensure patient safety, following all safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment. You'll assist in various pharmacy operations to keep the department running smoothly and ensure patients receive their medications.
Responsibilities
- Perform all duties of a pharmacy technician in accordance with established policies and procedures related to the preparation and distribution of medication.
- Restock the IV room, process IV credits, restock returns, and document waste.
- Prepare and dispense IV solutions.
- Handle narcotic distribution and assist in discrepancy resolution.
- Answer phone calls, determine order status, and triage calls for appropriate resolution.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or High School GED.
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in Arkansas.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician (Pharmacy Tech II).
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience.

Pay
$17.04 - $23.20 per hour.
