Key Responsibilities
- Lead medication safety, adverse event reporting, product complaint management, and pharmacovigilance activities.
- Conduct investigations, root cause analyses, deviation reporting, and CAPA development.
- Analyze safety trends and implement process improvements to enhance patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and quality documentation.
- Serve as a medication safety resource for pharmacy teams while promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- PharmD or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy with an active, unrestricted pharmacist license.
- Dual licensure in Florida and Georgia, or the ability to obtain both.
- Five or more years of pharmacy experience, preferably in a specialty or mail-order setting.
- Three or more years of experience in medication safety, pharmacovigilance, adverse event reporting, product complaints, deviations, CAPA, or pharmacy quality.
- Strong knowledge of medication safety, investigations, root cause analysis, HIPAA, and quality improvement.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
