Pharmacy/ Pharmacist

About the role

Provide professional pharmacy services, including filling prescriptions, counseling patients and supervising pharmacy technicians. Ensure all services comply with professional standards and applicable statutes and regulations.

Requirements

• Effective interpersonal, communication and customer service skills

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Adhere to local, state and federal health and civil codes
• Interpret prescriptions and enter data into computer systems
• Administer immunizations under defined protocols
• Monitor patient profiles and inventory levels
• Follow department policies, procedures and best practices
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations
• Perform daily operational duties under the direction of the pharmacy manager
• Maintain physical abilities to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

• Minimum Board of Pharmacy license
• Aptitude for teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Outgoing demeanor and team player
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills
• Confidentiality of information
• Strong math skills (calculate discounts, proportions, percentages)
• Basic algebra and geometry skills (calculate circumferences, volume)
