Description
The Pharmacy Medication Refill Technician 2 position is responsible for the completion of centralized medication refills across the clinics of the Baptist Health South Florida Network. The role contributes to the medication refill process by performing necessary data entry and follow-up as defined in the medication refill workflow and protocols set in place. This role will also be responsible for tasks in any disease state and managing proposals within the Pharmacy Led Refill Management Program, including proposing medications in all pools (via Apellos, Bryants, Portals & Phone calls).
Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern license (actively enrolled in pharmacy school)
- PTCB preferred
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) highly preferred
- Knowledge of/proficient in medical terminology preferred (written & oral)
- Proficient in computer applications and data entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, intense (high volume) environment
