About the role
The Pharmacy Manager at Genoa Healthcare plays a crucial role in serving behavioral health and addiction treatment communities. This position oversees the pharmacy’s operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, and manages a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Responsibilities
- Creates a great consumer and clinic partner experience and builds solid relationships with both groups
- Serves as an expert to the clinical staff and meets with them on clinical outcomes
- Counsels and educates patients on medication usage, adverse effects, and personal questions
- Ensures compliance with policies and standards in accordance with state and federal laws
- Performs wellness services such as immunizations and flu shots
- Motivates, develops, and coaches all pharmacy staff to ensure they meet their potential and deliver exceptional service
- Builds relationships with the community, stakeholders, and clinic partners to meet all needs and promote the pharmacy business
- Drives marketing plans and materials to promote all pharmacy offerings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Current pharmacist license in the state of Massachusetts
- Current certification as a Certified Immunizer or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire
- Authorization to administer long-acting injectables or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of pharmacy leadership experience

The salary range for this role is $112,700 to $193,200 annually, subject to eligibility requirements. Genoa Healthcare complies with all minimum wage laws and is a drug-free workplace.
