About the role
The Pharmacy Manager at Genoa Healthcare is a key position that impacts consumer and clinic partners by providing pharmaceutical care services and benefits. This role oversees pharmacy operations, manages staff, and ensures compliance with policies and laws.
Responsibilities
- Creates a great consumer and clinic partner experience and builds strong relationships with both groups
- Serves as an expert to the clinical staff and meets with them to discuss clinical outcomes
- Counsels and educates patients on medication usage, adverse effects, and schedules
- Ensures compliance with policies and standards in accordance with state and federal laws
- Performs wellness services such as immunizations and flu shots
- Manages financial profitability and drives growth in the pharmacy
- Motivates, develops, and coaches all pharmacy staff to ensure they meet their potential and deliver exceptional service
- Builds strong relationships with the community, stakeholders, and clinic partners
- Drives marketing plans and materials to promote all pharmacy offerings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Current pharmacist's license in the state of Indiana
- Immunization Certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience as a Pharmacist
Pay & Benefits
