Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, including staff scheduling and performance assessment
- Serve as liaison between nursing and medical staff regarding pharmacy operations
- Cookordinate employee management activities and inventory control
- Oversee budgeting, service quality, and formulary management
- Conduct drug usage evaluations and education activities for staff
- Provide overall departmental leadership and guidance
Qualifications
- Doctorate from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Registered or Licensed Pharmacist certification
- Minimum of 8 years recent relevant experience in pharmacy operations
- Thorough knowledge of hospital pharmacy regulations and operations, including California Pharmacy Law
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities in a healthcare setting
