PHARMACY/LEAD TECHNICIAN

About the role

Train and mentor new hire technicians in day-to-day operations and support for pharmacy associates.

Responsibilities

  • Support company health and wellness initiatives
  • Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring a pharmacist's professional judgement
  • Complete PIC Assistant process walk
  • Oversee inventory management including reconciling orders, returns process, and physical inventory preparation
  • Prepare for offsite Business to Business clinics (biometric screenings, vaccinations)
  • Comply with and reinforce all sanitation and safety regulations/guidelines/procedures and programs according to company, local, state, and federal health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management
  • Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud

Requirements

Minimum High School Diploma or GED, 1 year or more of Pharmacy Tech experience, Pharmacy Technician Certification, professional, dependable, possess positive attitude, good judgment, and be able to gain the support of others to lead a high performing pharmacy team, self-motivated, able to organize, prioritize, plan and meet deadlines, 1 year or more of previous experience in a management or supervisory role, understand and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations, willing and able to adequately perform all essential job functions and tasks of a Pharmacy Senior Certified Technician, maintain a current state registration, certification, or license depending on state requirements.
