PHARMACY/LEAD CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN

About the role

Smith's Food and Drug, now part of The Kroger Company, seeks a Pharmacy Senior Certified Technician to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing a safe and inclusive environment, and adhering to company and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient intervention by offering health and wellness services and experiences relevant to the patient, as allowed by and consistent with state and federal laws.
• Support company health and wellness initiatives.
• Train and mentor new hire technicians.
• Oversee inventory management and ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
• Administer immunizations where applicable by state law.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of Pharmacy Certified Technician experience within the Kroger enterprise
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Professional, dependable, positive attitude, good judgment, and ability to gain support from others
• Self-motivated, organized, prioritizes tasks, meets deadlines, and demonstrates strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with leaders and peers
• Completion of national and/or state registration, certification, or license depending on state requirements
• Proven experience in a management or supervisory role

Qualifications

• Desired 1 year or more of previous experience in a management or supervisory role
• Completion of national and/or state registration, certification, or license depending on state requirements
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
