Pharmacy Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversight of daily workflow of pharmacy technicians to ensure prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with laws and policies.
• Assignment of daily tasks and monitoring of technician performance.
• Serving as the point of contact between technicians, pharmacists, and management.
• Aid in policy and procedure updates to enhance workflow.
• Handling complex or escalated prescription issues.
• Maintaining and ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Training new pharmacy technicians and technician trainees on workflow, systems, and pharmacy policy.
• Providing day-to-day work direction and informal performance feedback to pharmacy technicians and technician trainees; referring hiring and termination decisions to the Pharmacist in Charge or Operations Manager.
• Offering input on staff performance, coaching needs, and disciplinary matters to the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) or Operations Manager.
• Supporting the PIC with special projects, process improvement initiatives, and the implementation of new systems or automation.
• Excellent team support by resolving issues quickly and professionally.

Requirements

• Completed a minimum of twelve (12) months of service as a Pharmacy Technician I with LifeMD.
• Held and maintained an active Pharmacy Technician registration with the State of Pennsylvania.
• Demonstrated strong teamwork skills and professionalism, including leadership qualities that elevate team performance and ensure accountability among peers.
• Ability to take initiative and effectively resolve problems.
• Availability to work one (1) Saturday per month, as scheduled.
• Achieved a performance rating of Meets Expectations or higher in the last 12 months.
