- Aid pharmacists in accurately filling and dispensing prescriptions, according to policy and approved laboratory procedure
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated product.
- Filing, packaging and meeting fast-paced shipping deadlines
- Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Clean and calibrate assigned equipment to ensure accurate measurements
- Prepare specialized medication (compounds-capsules only) tailored to individual needs of patients and stock items
- Contribute to team effort and willingness to be flexible to support dynamic needs of a growing company.
- High School Diploma or GED Certification
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to become licensed by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician
- Must be able to meet physical demands of job, which can include moderate to heavy lifting, and standing for long periods of time.
- Candidates must undergo a background check and drug screen.
- Must provide references and work history.
- Licensed as an Oregon Board of Pharmacy Technician (preferred)
- Experience with lab equipment (preferred)
- Previous Laboratory experience, or sufficient laboratory/science coursework (preferred)

Broadway Apothecary is a specialty pharmacy in search of an enthusiastic Pharmacy Laboratory Technician to join our team. We are dedicated to stellar, long-term patient care and provider partnerships with an emphasis on successful treatment outcomes, medication adherence, and dynamic medication regimens. Our specialties focus on the following areas of treatment: upper and lower respiratory care, wound and skin conditions, and topical pain management.

About our Operations and Benefits
Hours of operation: Monday - Friday 9:30am -- 6:00 pm
40hr work week with lunch break, plus two 15-min paid breaks
