Pharmacy Intern, Resource Pool, Shifts Vary

Responsibilities

• Supervision of drug distribution services
• Order processing functions
• Preparation of pharmaceutical doses
• Clerical functions
• Monthly unit floor inspections and departmental section checks
• Maintain adequate inventory levels of in-date pharmaceuticals on nursing units and the pharmacy department
• Aid in performance improvement activities
• Perform any other job-related duties as requested by a pharmacist or pharmacy management

Requirements

• Current South Carolina Pharmacy Intern Certificate
• Currently registered as a pharmacy intern with the SC Board of Pharmacy and enrolled in a PharmD program
• Basic typing skills
• Working knowledge of computers and equipment utilized in the preparation, repackaging, dispensing and distribution of pharmaceutical products
