Pharmacy Intern, Per Diem - Sunnyview Hospital

What You Will Do

• Performs the technical aspects of medication preparation, distribution, record keeping, and inventory control under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Verifies tasks sequentially or finally by a registered pharmacist.
• Engages in a variety of work, including direct patient interaction, patient counseling, and medication reconciliation.
• Requires mental and visual attention, accuracy, and moderate pressure, working at a rapid pace under frequent deadlines and interruptions.

What You Will Need

• Currently enrolled in Pharmacy College and completed at least the fourth year.
• Active New York State Intern Permit.
• Experience in a registered pharmacy is preferred.

Pay

Pay Range: $19.00 - $23.42
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.
Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
