Responsibilities
- Completion of a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on Key Learning Experiences (KLEs) that build aptitude in areas such as:
- Following company SOPs at each workstation
- Pharmacy workflow procedures
- Providing empathetic and caring service
- Telephonic prescription handling
- Inventory activities
- Supporting immunizations
- Assisting the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations, prompt and accurate prescription fulfillment, and patient satisfaction
- Operating as part of the pharmacy team, applying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices
- Learning to demonstrate empathy and genuine care in customer interactions
- Maintaining self-awareness and providing in-the-moment coaching and mentoring to pharmacy team members
- Completing basic inventory activities as permitted by law
- Contributing to a high-performing team, embracing a growth mindset, and being receptive to feedback
- Remaining flexible for both scheduling and business needs, and contributing to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic
- Voluntarily traveling to stores in the market to work shifts as needed by the business
- Understanding and complying with relevant laws and regulations, and adhering to CVS policies and procedures to ensure patient safety
- Delivering additional patient health care services, such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics
- Supporting immunizations by completing additional licensure and training requirements, educating patients, monitoring adverse reactions, and documenting patient information
Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
