Pharmacy Intern

Responsibilities

• Completion of a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on Key Learning Experiences (KLEs) that build aptitude in areas such as:
  • Following company SOPs at each workstation
  • Pharmacy workflow procedures
  • Providing empathetic and caring service
  • Telephonic prescription handling
  • Inventory management
  • Supporting immunizations
• Assisting the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations, prompt and accurate prescription fulfillment, and patient satisfaction
• Operating as part of the pharmacy team, applying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices
• Maintaining a safe and inclusive culture, demonstrating empathy and providing in-the-moment coaching and mentoring
• Delivering additional patient health care services, such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinic support

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Possession or process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
