Provides pharmaceutical care and ensures compliance with company and legal policies in assigned areas, focusing on loss prevention, safety controls, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret reports to implement and monitor loss prevention and safety controls.
- Oversee safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews; develop and implement action plans.
- Process and accurately dispense prescription orders under a Pharmacist’s direction.
- Counsel customers on health care and prescription medication needs while maintaining confidentiality and controlled medication procedures.
- Ensure accuracy of chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances; evaluate potential chemical interactions and side effects of prescribed medications.
- Accurately dictate, communicate, and interpret written prescriptions to/from physicians.
- Maintain confidentiality of information, documentation, and records per company policies and legal guidelines.
- Provide customer service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting products/services in a safe shopping environment.
- Operate cash registers and related tools to process customer purchases, handling various payment types and items.
- Receive and stock merchandise/supplies; organize and maintain the Pharmacy area following company procedures.
- Maintain the Pharmacy area by handling claims/returns, zoning, arranging merchandise, identifying shrink/damages, and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Stock and rotate merchandise, remove damaged/outdated goods, set up displays, sign/price merchandise, and secure fragile/high-shrink items.

Requirements
- Enrolled in final year at an accredited Pharmacy school.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science.
- Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 - $37.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) adjustments based on location.
