Pharmacy Director/UKHC

About the role

The Pharmacy Director of Oncology Operations is responsible for oncology and infusion pharmacy support across UK HealthCare Chandler, including 4 compounding locations, 6 outpatient infusion locations totaling 65 infusion chairs, and the inpatient Markey Cancer Center service line.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for staff, services provided and level of performance within assigned areas, and managing operations within budget.
• Works with multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment to ensure compliant and efficient medication distribution and pharmacy operations throughout UKHC and the Markey Cancer Center.
• Collaborates with other department managers to develop and implement new services and ensures the integration of pharmaceutical care throughout the Enterprise.

Requirements

• Eligible for pharmacist license in KY
• Pharmacy Residency training and Master’s degree (MS, MBA , MHA , etc.)

Qualifications

• 6 yrs related experience
• Licensed Pharmacist

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

• Clinical therapeutics and cost management knowledge
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Schedule

Primarily day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. As an exempt-level position, additional hours may be required in order to meet job and departmental needs.
