Pharmacy Delivery Driver

Summary: The pharmacy delivery driver is responsible for picking up prescriptions each day at Grace Pharmacies and delivering them to patients or other sites. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Picks up prescriptions at Grace Health pharmaciesDeliver prescriptions promptly, efficiently, and accurately to the intended recipientsCommunicates and resolves prescription delivery issues with pharmacy staff and patientsMaintains security and integrity of medication and devices throughout delivery processUnderstands and communicates basic pharmacy language with insurance and prescription issuesHas patient sign acknowledgement of deliveryEnsures the vehicle is maintained in a safe and proper working conditionPerform data collection as requiredMaintains security of monies collected from patients and delivers to the pharmacyUpholds safety in high regardRepresents the company image in a positive mannerWill work as a back-up for pharmacy technician positions if available and needed. May sit in vehicles for long periods of time. Required to climb stairs and must occasionally lift to 25 pounds. Education and/or Experience: Graduation from high school or GED. Possess a valid Kentucky driver's license and driving record free of violations and accidents with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
